Making art is for me, a process of exploring how I relate to my bodily experience, especially through digital media. My work attempts to orient the viewer’s desire to touch towards unexpected sources in order to inspire joy and surprise in the sensorial experience. These revelations, I hope, can be heart-opening.

 

Specifically, these works reflect an epic slog towards heart-centered living. In the cave, I attempt to make friends with my shadow, demons, and blows to the heart. On the water is where I cherish the light and the joys of seeing that make my heart habitable. Most importantly, in making these works, I am trying to clarify my own sensory journey towards love.
